完成矢と、スペアの完成弦、クィーバー、ストリンガ、ボウスタンド、そしてバッグなどを注文しました。どさくさにまぎれてスピギャレリの目盛り付きプランジャーと、wrap around typeの日本ではなじみの無いレストも注文してしまいました。
現地時間で月曜の昼、つまり日本時間は月曜深夜に返事が来て「クィーバーが在庫切れなのだが、仕入れ先の人が旅行中で掴まらない」とのだそうです。それとシャフトの選択に関してアドバイスがあるとのこと。1716では32lbのハンドルでは『硬すぎる』のだそうです。スパインという単語は出て来ません。「引き尺1"あたり、実質ポンドは2 lb減るので25.5"だと27 lbになるけどショートハンドルなので+2lbされて、結局29lbになるので1616の方が良い」そうです。これでもまだちょっと硬めだけど、いずれ慣れてポンド数を上げれば丁度良くなるのだとのこと。早速、「リコメンドありがとう、1616にして下さい」と返信しました。
すると、その数時間後、再びメールが来て、無事に連絡が取れて今週末か遅くとも(at the latest)来週前半には届くので16日には発送できるだろうとのこと。対応が遅れたのは46cmの積雪でショップ(factory)を開けられなかったと言っていますが、ツチブタの店が開かなかったのか、それともクィーバーの仕入れ先が開かなかったのかは、メールからは読み取れませんでした。
今回は矢のせいで送料が高いのと、ポンドのレートも戻っているのであまり割安感はない(ツチブタの人も送料がかなり高いけど、、と心配してくれてます)のですが、Hoytのバッグや"wrap around"タイプのレストは国内ではあまり取り扱いを見ないので楽しみです。
⇔日本で売っているのは殆ど全てがstick on型といってテープで貼り付けるタイプです。ラップアラウンド型はライザーの右側(プランジャーをねじ込む側)にネジで取り付けて、サイトピンはライザーをぐるりと回って反対側に来ます。安いものでは二千円程度(英国通販での価格)からあります。

At this time we are waiting for the Arrowhead quivers to come back into stock. I tried to ring the supplier today to get a dispatch time but he was travelling and didn't have a good phone signal. I will e-mail again when I have a date. All other items are in stock.
Arrows - I have to say I am a little concerned on the shaft size you have selected. 1716 shafts at 25.5" you would need a draw weight of 36-40lb.
Your 32lb limbs would probably be giving you a weight of 29lb at 25.5". (all limbs are measured at 28". for each -1" you loose 2lb and for each +1" you gain 2lb. 28-25.5 = 2.5" * 2 = 5lb therefore 32lb - 5lb = 27lb. Having said that a 23" riser gives +2lb so the 27lb should then be 29lb. with full weight increase on your bow you will probably only get to 31 or 32lb max)
I think you will find a 1616 is a much better size for you. They might be a little stiff to start with but as you get used to the bow weight and increase the limb weight you should find they become ok. I think you will always find a 1716 too stiff.

Postage is unfortunately quite high for this order. I think the size of the box has more affect than the weight due to space available on planes. I have worked out it is a 5.5kg package but it measure 75x38x21 and the best price I have got is £73.15
this would mean
£259.60 for the goods, £73.15 carriage, £332.75 Total price.
Is this price acceptable to you, and what do you think on the arrows.

すると46cm積雪というメールがツチブタから来ました。そしてさらに私のベインの選択もまずかったようです。長さが1-3/4, 2-3/8, 2-7/8の三種類から選択できたのでとりあえず真ん中を選んで置いたのですが一番小さなものの方が良いとのことです。

I have spoken to the supplier of the quivers. I should have them by the end of this week or early next at the latest. I therefore expect to be able to ship your order on or around 16/02/09. (apparently my order has been delayed due to 46cm of snow fall preventing the factory from opening.)
I have also adjusted the size of you fletchings to the EP-16 as this is more appropriate to the size of arrow you are getting. I will e-mail you again with a tracking number when your order has been sent.
